Optoma Launches New UHD51A, UHD51 and UHD50 4K Home Projectors

Optoma UHD5X

Optoma, a world-leading manufacturer of video and audio products, today is launching the newest addition to its 4K projector portfolio, the UHD5x projector series, including the world first Alexa-enable home theatre projector, UHD51A, and the state-of-the-art, high-quality 4K UHD home cinema projectors, UHD51 and UHD50.

First announced at CES this past January, the Optoma UHD51A integrates with Amazon Alexa Smart Home and Custom Skills to enable 4K UHD projection to fluidly align with speakers, screen, lighting and more in any smart home setting. It also features a built-in media player, along with a pair of HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP 2.2 support, to ensure compatibility with the latest 4K UHD video playback devices and game consoles with HDR at 60 Hz refresh rates for unmatched image smoothness.

Optoma UHD5X

Adding to its line of revolutionary and affordable 4K resolution projectors, the Optoma UHD51 and UHD50 are designed with the latest Texas Instruments 4K UHD DLP technology that produces 8.3 million distinct pixels on the screen and integrates modern technology innovations in color and 4K resolution for market-leading performance.

The new Optoma UHD5x projector series features a newly developed 4K precision lens for crystal clear detail in every image. With full 8.3 million on-screen pixels, this series meets the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) requirements for 4K UHD and complies with the CTA High Dynamic Range (HDR) compatible display standards. It not only offers 2,400 lumens and a 500,000:1 contrast ratio but also touts an RGBRGB color wheel and HDR10 with Rec.2020/DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut compatibility. This guarantees razor sharp, vivid images capable of showing more details than standard HD – replicating the immersive experience of going to the cinema. With vertical lens shift and a 1.3X zoom for easy installation, this series delivers an incredible 4K UHD image of up to 300 inches.
