Vivo India launched its new flagship smartphone, Vivo V9 last month in the Indian market. The smartphone sports a notch similar to iPhone X, Dual Rear cameras and more. We had also posted our first impressions of Vivo V9.

Today, the brand has launched a special Youth edition of Vivo V9 smartphone in the Indian market. Designed while keeping in mind the young and dynamic consumer base in Vivo, the V9 Youth is packed with a host of features which provide an unparalleled experience.

Priced at INR 18,990, V9 Youth will be available in black and gold colors across all offline stores from 20th April 2018 and will also be available online on the Vivo E-store, Flipkart, Amazon India and PayTM Mall from 24th April 2018.

Camera:

The V9 Youth creates a richer photography experience with the help of dual rear camera i.e., 16MP + 2MP. The rear camera is capable of shooting Bokeh enabled pictures, allowing users to keep in focus the things they love. It comes equipped with a 16MP selfie camera which uses, AI Face beauty feature to deliver astonishingly clear and beautiful selfies.

Hardware:

The V9 Youth runs on Funtouch OS 4.0, based on Android 8.1 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-core which ensures smoother operation even while using heavy applications or multitasking. The super-sized 15.51cm (6.3) display fits perfectly in a compact body no larger than a traditional 13.97cm (5.5) phone, offering an incredibly immersive experience for watching videos and gaming. The new-generation AI Face Access technology allows the phone to be unlocked quickly by scanning facial features of the user.

Gamers will be delighted with ‘Game Mode’ in the V9 Youth which prevents distractions such as messages, calls and, alerts thereby providing an uninterrupted gaming experience. With the new Picture-in-Picture for games feature, just sliding down with three fingers will split the screen in two halves. There’s also the newly developed Gaming Keyboard which doesn’t take up your whole screen, so you can easily chat while gaming. The powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with a 3260mAh battery enables a smooth gaming experience for longer durations.
